About Our Spy GPS Vehicle Tracking Systems

First of all, GPS vehicle tracking systems are sophisticated electronic devices that are commonly installed either inside or underneath a target vehicle.

A vehicle owner or company is able to track the specific location of a particular vehicle, usually accurate within 40-50 feet. Most of today's GPS vehicle tracking systems utilize GPS modules, which allow the user to accurately pinpoint the specific location of the target vehicle.

Some of our GPS vehicle tracking systems such as the TrimTrac, WorldTracker SMS and ProTrak Ranger GPS combine a communications element such as cellular, satellite, or both to effectively communicate the vehicle’s location to a user at another location. Most of the GPS vehicle tracking systems we offer allow the user to view GPS mapping data on electronic maps via the Internet or specialized mapping software applications.

Many of our GPS vehicle tracking systems are used by businesses and their personnell for comprehensive fleet management functions like routing, dispatch, on-board information and security.

We offer two typs of GPS vehicle tracking devices: "Passive" and "Active" (or "Real-Time").

Passive vehicle tracking devices such as the ProScout, and the Track Stick simply store a history of location and speed. Once the vehicle returns, the vehicle tracking system must be removed from the vehicle and the stored data is downloaded to your computer. The included mapping applications allow the user to view a complete travel history of the target vehicle.

Active or "real time" GPS vehicle tracking systems such as the ProTrak Ranger Plus, ProTrak Digital, WorldTracker SMS and TrimTrak will also gather the same travel data, but in addition, will send the information in real-time via cellular or satellite network. From most computers, the user can not only evaluate the travel history, but also be able to view the vehicle's activity in real-time as well.
